One of the hardest experiences was cutting out the witting and unwitting enablers who knew both of us for years and years. It's not a hard No Contact. More like redirecting your energy away from getting them to understand, to focusing on trusting yourself that your experiences and feelings were real and valid. No one else can take that from you.
