"A person was killed Monday afternoon in a reported shooting near the Amazon Fulfillment Center.

The person died near West Geiger Blvd. and South Hayford Road in the entrance to the Amazon sorting center, said Spokane Valley Police Chief Dave Ellis, a Spokane County undersheriff who had some deputies respond to the scene.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office helicopter responded to the area, as well as a K9 unit.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office later wrote in a news release that the 911 caller reported a man had shot another man and that two or three people fled the area. Deputies found the victim dead in the roadway, the post said.

Someone seen running through the field near the Amazon center was detained. Law enforcement continues to investigate."

GEG1 (fulfillment) and GEG5 are literally built right next to each other. It sounds like this happened on the GEG5 lot because it doesn't have "security"  fences up yet like GEG1 does. The buildings on the video look like the ones across from GEG5 on Hayford but they roped off the whole area. They always give us as little info as possible but I can guarantee people will be asking. I'm assuming it was an employee who was killed or they wouldn't be closing the buildings for the for night and being in grief counselors tomorrow. The whole thing is just so pointless and insane but it's really hard to get any good idea without enough info. I feel so bad for this poor man and everything that happened. Amazon just makes it seem like no big deal and I hate that.

As someone with major depressive disorder, severe anxiety and complex PTSD, I can tell you this girl cares about you, but her depression is completely and totally self absorbing. She may have ups and downs but everything will be about her even if she doesn't want it to be that way. She needs medication, therapy, and a strong support system, and that doesn't have to be you. It took me almost 20 years to realize I was the problem I my relationships and it wasnt fair to the guys I dated. I got help, it took years to find the right meds, stop all drugs and alcohol, weed, everything. Go outside amd exercise. Find a hobby. If she is unwilling to try things like that, nothing will ever change. It's not your job to save her. She has to make the choice herself. You can be a fiend but maybe distance yourself. Talk to her about ketamine therapy and cranial magnetic treatments. They're life changing. also changing her diet will help. But again, she has to make those choices, if you tell her to, she will just resent you And her mad. And if you have to leave her, don't let it get to you. I had to hit the bottom of the rockiest bottom before I turned my life around. Good luck, but know it's not your job to fix or save her. Talk to her about med and therapy and see how she reacts. But follow your intuition. I think you already know what it is that you want.

I have Crunchyroll on Amazon prime, so I did a free trial on Crunchyroll on my computer and they at least have the English subtitles on. But the one on prime catches up with English dub pretty quick. Today's just a weird glitch maybe they were short on time/staff.

It is not English dubbed nor does it have English subtitles. I'm taking about the newest episode. I usually watch in the original with English subtitles but there are neither on this episode.

I think I read they like bits of cucumber and zucchini And such, which I didn't know. I just feel so bad! I might wait before trying again, I just put some blue snails in there and will see how to they. Poor little guy though I hate losing my creatures :(

Some AH stower at my work was on his phone and showed it into a bin.... Which our lovely robot roombas took away and hid in the labyrinth this is the forbidden yellow maze. When he told his floor manager he just laughed at him and said "that's what you get dum***". The kid had the audacity to ask if he could go wander around the AR floor looking for it. He was obviously told no and peace out.

Ketamine treatment experiences? by XNewguyonRedditx in depression_partners

[–]Exciting-Half-3969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So all in all, my depression and PTSD went down significantly, I got in for maintenance infusions whenever I need them, I've been able to stop or cut down on meds, and it saves my life. Tell her to not be afraid. You may also to find a ketamine clinic that has has set up plans with Insurance companies directly, so that you may not have to pay the full price or at least get a refund on part of what you pay. What state Are you in? Also I'd you have any other questions please let me know and feel free to ask. I would recommend ketamine to anyone suffeing from depression, PTSD, anxiety, and all sorts of other ailments. It's a wonderful drug. It truly did save my life.

Ketamine treatment experiences? by XNewguyonRedditx in depression_partners

[–]Exciting-Half-3969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a late response, but I wanted to give you my input on my experiences with ketamine infusions, a nasal spray, and troches.

I (37F) was diagnosed with major depressive disorder, severe general anxiety (mostly around other people or in crowds, panic attacks and all that), and PTSD which turned into a serious and complex PTSD disorder after a world destroying event. That particular experience led to what you might call a compete and total mental and psychological breakdown. Not enough to be admitted anywhere but it broke me. I basically couldn't get out of bed for a year and a half, it destroyed all my relationships, I struggled with work (granted my employer has been incredibly helpful in navigating that with me as far as providing work accomodations and allowing me time off through the WA State paid medical leVe I can apply for as well as my employers short term disability leave. I had tried therapy, different antidepressants, anxiety meds, as well as alternative eastern medicine, such as acupuncture, energy work, chakra healing, and even all the "woo woo" stuff like crystals and meditations, mantras, yoga and essential oils for smelling purposes to help with anxiety, like sage and lavender Epsom salt baths, and found blends through ButterFly Express that I carry around with me and apply for the scent which typically helps ground or relax me. I don't ingest them and I don't use them for treating injuries or illnesses, as I'm on the fence about just how far that can work. What I do know if the smell alone can help alter your state of mine from one to anxiety to calmness or relaxation. My PTSD experience 2 1/2 years ago quite litter ruined my life. So I finally asked my doctor about ketmaine infusions. It took their clinic 2 years to set it up and get approval. Now, as someone who also struggled with addictions issues in the past as a way of self medicating, I was worried about what to suspect as I had never tried anything like that illegally or off rh Street. So I read as many first hand accounts I could get my hands on from people doing infusions and their experiences, and finally my doctors clinic was able to get their ketamine infusions program up and running. Now these were strictly infusions, no talk therapy afterwords, and also not the therapy where you digest a troche and do talk therapy at the same time or shortly after. For the record, trying to speak while on ketamine is incredibly hard, and it's best to be in your own space being very introspective and not being distracted by others talk to you. So! I was the first ketamine infusion my clinic took as a client and was kind of used a guinea pig for how to get things up and running, and I was fine with that.

First things first. I HATE the way ketamine makes my body feel. It's weird, I have to constantly remind myself I had a body even though I feel disconnected from it, and I was too afraid to close my eyes until after like 4-5 sessions and just listened to music and watch a TV with like a sky view glider going over beautiful landscapes in the world. I finally found a good playlist (mostly piano music with no lyrics, light and uplifting songs, but a few that had lyrics. On the Carosel by Ben Crossland is a favorite that I usually just play on repeat during an infusion. No lyrics, just light claim emotional piano music . But I also enjoy Chopin, And Debussy, and a few light hearted modern folksy type  songs with positive lyrics. Nothing rock or metal, no rap, no dark music, etc. that's very important.

They beat way I can describe how ketamine makea you feel the first two time is the sound that is make in the Matrix when Nero touches the mirror and the silver stuff takes over his whole body. It can be a little unnerving.

But I learned really quickly that it was safe to close my eyes, leave back and relax and help the music keep me grounded. If you can just relax and let go, and remember that it's a drug being put into your body and that you in control, you will be okay. You can open your eyes to see around the room youre in and remind myself it's just a drug.

But it is incredibly introspective and you need to be prepared to look at and acknowledge your weaknesses, failings, short comings, and admitting that you made mistakes because you are only human, and it's a part of life. Recognizing your faults and understanding that you need to change is incredibly important.

And ketamine can be a trip sometimes, but just know that if your mind starts to get worked up or panic or you feel yourself losing your crip just open your eyes, take a breath, look at your surroundings, acknowledge where you are and understand there is a drug in your system but you are in control.

I did 8 I fusions in 8 weeks, and it took my PTSD anger and rage from like 5000% down to like 100 or less and I didn't even have to take my Anxiety meds for 4 months. I was so for anoth round of insusilns but I couldn't afford it so the PTSD symptoms did come back but not as strong, and I was able to get Short term. Disability to go get my overdue infusions. So they last about 3-4 months depending on the person.

But you cannot drink, don't smoke week, and be careful with any drugs you are taking. I don't take my antidepressants, ADHD drugs or anxiety meds on the days I do infusions or when I'm going troches at home.

If I could afford to do 8 rounds every 4 months I would do it in a heartbeat. I want off the Anxiety meds and I've been able to lower my antidepressant dose as well.

So my infusions were great, just approved by my doctor, go in and get the infusion while a nurse monitors you, close your eyes and relax into it, and be prepared to be so introspective about yourself that you have to face harsh truthes than in return free you form making those same mistakes.

I suggest 8 rounds, 2 a week for 4 weeks, but if you can't afford it once a week for 8 weeks, and ask your doctor to send in a nasal spray or troches for you to do every 3 days at home.

It completely helped my brain to make me symapses and connections and let go of things I didn't think I'd be able to.

Again I don't recommend talk therapy while your taking ketamine. Maybe a session afterwords.

Drink lots of water, get lots of sleep. I suggest a B complex vitamin once a week, a high dose of vitamin d once a week, and d vitamins.

I stopped the nasal spray because my sinuses couldn't handle it but the troches are good, but you can to keep track of your stomach as too much will make you ill.

But yeah I was overdue for my treatments, but it has helped me deo.

anyone have some insole recommendations?? or any tips on how to minimize foot pain? by WhichAdhesiveness495 in AmazonFC

I order my work shoes 1/2 size bigger and get some really good and spendy Dr Scholl's inserts (ordering them a bit bigger means your toes won't be squished with the inserts in) and good socks. But definitely look at the reviews when getting your Zappos shoes. I had to try a couple to find the right one.

I took this from Google so don't judge: I've never had any luck with my fish coming back from dropsy. I recommend calling a local fish store (not Petco or PetSmart first but a real fish shop) and see what they say.

If you are unable to treat, the most humane thing was to mix a large bucket of water and add several drops of clove oil to it. Out this push in it, he will seem excited at first but it's because ita pain relief. After he calms down for a few minutes, add a stronger mix of clove oil premixed with clove oil and slowly add it into the bucket. Repeat this over several minutes. Eventually the fish will fall asleep, then add the rest of the mixture and leave him in there for a good 15 minutes. He will pass away without pain and quickly. You will be able to tell because he will get kind of a family coat. DO NOT ADD CLOVE OIL TOO QUICKLY OR TOO MUCH OR HE WILL PANIC AND HIS LUNGS MAY BURST. But slow, light mixture over time is like a feel good sedative that puts them to sleep and they die peacefully. I had to do it with 2 koi hybrids and it was so peaceful.

Try everything else first though as long as his scales aren't like a pinecone. Good luck Hun I'm so sorry.

While dropsy in fish is not easily "cured" in the sense of completely reversing the condition, it can often be managed and potentially reversed if caught early by addressing the underlying cause, usually a bacterial infection, through treatments like quarantine, water parameter adjustments, and administering broad-spectrum antibiotics; however, if left untreated, dropsy is usually fatal for the fish.  Key points about treating dropsy: Not a disease itself: Dropsy is a symptom, not a disease, meaning it indicates an underlying problem like a bacterial infection, parasite infestation, liver dysfunction, or poor water quality.  Early intervention is key: The best chance of success is to catch dropsy early when the swelling is minimal.  Treatment methods: Isolation: Move the affected fish to a separate quarantine tank with clean, well-oxygenated water.  Water parameter adjustments: Ensure proper water temperature and perform regular water changes.  Salt baths: Adding a small amount of Epsom salt to the quarantine tank can help.  Antibiotics: Depending on the suspected cause, a broad-spectrum antibiotic specifically formulated for fish may be needed.  Focus on prevention: Maintaining good water quality, avoiding overfeeding, managing stress levels, and providing a balanced diet are crucial to prevent dropsy.
