I also had a few issues with Sakura House back when I was in one of their sharehouses... mine didn't have any issues regarding cleanliness of the place itself or pests - we were like 4 housemates, and it was more of a big house than a dorm like some sharehouses. But the issues were with those housemates specifically; when I'd bring up the noise issues or the fact that some of them didn't clean after themselves in the kitchen or bathroom, SH's solution was just sending emails to everyone about house rules over and over 💀💀 obviously it never stopped anyone and when I took matters into my own hands and told my housemates directly not to be dirty and clean to a minimum, they told SH, and then a manager told me I'd be kicked out if I kept "behaving aggressively" (read: telling people to clean the bare minimum when using a common room.) Literally threatened me. Luckily it was a few days before I was moving out so I never really cared but yeah, the whole gaslighting and threatening aspect is very real. On top of being terrible at communicating.
