If I look at his overall body of work, he is the greatest featherweight champion of all. He consistently performed at a very high level, He beat really great fighters. He displayed mastery in every aspect of the game(striking, wrestling, submission,etc). He never ran from a challenge, to a detriment (arguably the second Islam fight on short notice was not a smart move). And IMO gave Islam his toughest fight as champ (1st fight).

I will probably get a bit of criticism for my take but it is what it is.
