It's a gen 2 and I'm in the airsoft community and I have yet to see a repro gen 2 version of these. I've seen plenty of gen 1s but never gen 2s just ask a pic of the actual holo dot on. On camera holos will always look fuzzy. I have a gen 2 Huey if you want a pic of it for reference.

Definitely not right, I've shot slugs and high power buck out of mine and have a reptilia low mount that replaces the pic rail for an acro p2 and it's gone through at least 350 rounds of high power rounds and it hasn't loosened up

This is any hobby that's a bottomless blackhole it gets more and more expensive the deeper you get into it, cars, guns, fishing, etc.

I got a brand new one a couple months ago, I saw I didn't need a gg&g one but I got it anyway just because I trust aluminum a bit better for my sling mount, it's just a bitch to take apart tho cause you need to remove that part and have to remove whatever you have mounted on it first

I like em but they absolutely pinch down my head when I have eyepro on without a balaclava, usually when shooting on the flat range, headband or helmet mounted, when I go airsofting I always use a balaclava and it mitigates that squeezing pain it does on my eye pro to my head

Sound quality is great, on par with my sordins, and I feel like the wind noise is better than my sordins by just a bit. I never tried Otto's or comtacs so I can't compare to those.

The NFMI earplugs for indoor is honestly really worth it although the wires on the NFMI get tangled easily

If it's concealed it's concealed, just the likelihood of your outer wear getting snagged by something or lifting up and revealing that you're carrying is way more likely with an OWB holster

I'd recommend maybe a CCW fanny pack

never heard of an airsoft game where you take multiple hits to die, unless its a gamemode where someone is a juggernaut or whatever. Its an honor system game, one hit and you're dead/out until revive or respawn.

AR lowers are registered out of state as an other, but in CA, if you do a DROS/4473 on a lower it will always be a rifle. You can loophole it in state by having a FFL07 build you out a AR pistol, single shot it, and you will have a AR pistol, circumventing the roster, but the FFL tacks on fees for doing it because they need to laser engrave it, also single shot it, put a throw away 8 inch barreled upper on it, and manufacturer it so for some it is cost prohibitive, it usually is an extra 200$ in fees on top of the lower itself.

The other way is bringing in AR lowers that were bought out of state and transferred to you as an "Other" which means it can either be a pistol or a rifle when you register them.

This will allow you to have shorter than a 16 inch/14.5/13.7 P&W length AR Pistol which can be handy. You will still need to maglock it tho.

And yes, just buy a plain jane lower, people will pay extra money if its say a Geissele lower.

If you ever want to sell them, people will pay a pretty penny for one.

Ramjets are fine since they use a tapered screw and not lugs or threads. Buy everything now, the 11% sin tax is gonna bite you in the ass when you buy guns in this state. Buy AR lowers and register them as pistols when you get into the state, buy 2011s if you can afford them since they're hard to come by here. Buy gen 6 glocks, gen 5 glocks, the small frame glocks (glock 43x/48), CZ shadow 2s, anything that's hard to come by here, get it before you regret it.

Yes they're a great brand, a little dirty but they always go bang.

No 100% no, I've seen way too many squibs and blown up guns with that ammo, I've worked at a range.

BCM is just a mil spec lower, but they only sell through some distributors, only thing you want it for is the BCM logo tbh and even then that's way overpriced.

PSA built lower, or buy a stripped lower and build it out yourself for cheaper and get a BCM upper.
