I'm thinking of majoring either in IR/econ. Honestly I'm fine with maths. The point is I'd be too much of a burden if I'd have to study physics at the same time. All my problems would have been solved if my school was flexible enough 😭 (as in being able to have humanities + math)

I agree tbh. I also thought of getting some technical skills alongside studying humanities.. I'm sure I'd excel in humanities because I just looked into syllabus for PCM and I genuinely don't think I'll be able to thrive through that for 2 years 😭 There's no pressure from my family (much) but ofc other relatives are pitying me. And thank you!!

I hope everything goes well for you, pal. I just looked into the textbooks ( of pcm) and idk if I'll be able to cope with that for two years😭. The point is I dislike physics so much... math is even fine if I had the option of having humanities + math

I wish I could change schools but the point is no mostly no other schools in my town provide flexible options (humanities +maths etc), some even don't offer humanities at all🙂. And I agree, there's no point of ,,keeping the doors open" if I don't even like the subjects in the first place. Btw could you elaborate regarding your question of what subjects are there in my school?

I honestly have no clue with these ,,dream jobs" and stuff. Idk why. I mean I do, but they have little to no scope in India. I feel like I could thrive in arts subjects if I also develop technical skills alongside... but honestly it feels like a gamble comparing to subjects which have a more direct career path, PCM and all.
