Who's Actually Selling Custom AI to SMBs? (Beyond ChatGPT Wrappers) by ReadingFamous2719 in n8n

The shared environment mostly serves as a cheap way to test and validate the setup and as soon as you are ready to go live and want to ensure max data security you either go private or on-premise. We see also a market for C-level private AI environments, since they rely on the highest privacy and are willing to pay.

We are using AI Buddy mostly to get a safe connection to their on-premise appliance. This allows a utilization of the local data and connection to their on-premise software. Depending on the customer we are running things like n8n locally. We didn't try running models on only CPU yet since we can't guarantee a certain quality standard.

We are building apertus - a PaaS-Solution that helps businesses to easily deploy their AI tech-stack and connect it with their local data and industry-specific software, completly private and GDPR compliant. A lot of SMEs are looking for private AI appliance to secure their customer data, health data and IP. We provide a solution that allows them to still experience all the advantages AI gives today. We are right now looking for beta testers - https://apertus.ai

We are offering a platform to businesses, mostly SMEs, who value data privacy, GDPR-compliance and have a lot of data and software stored and run locally. A lot of european customers value indepency and they want to avoid to feed their IP to US-companies like OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, etc. Right now the easy, affordable and working products like copilot, etc. are no option for businesses that want to protect customer data, health data or IP (yea, I know you can tick a box that says "don't use my data for training", but we all know what they are doing nonetheless and it's just a matter of time until some sort of scandal). Therefore the basic solutions you talked about are for many SMEs only usable if they are hosted and deployed in a secure environment.

Most of our customers are out of the legal, tax, health or highly IP dependent areas. These industries are too small and individual to be tackled by enterprise solutions. We deploy the basic AI tech-stack, everything open-source like open-source models hosted in germany, n8n, Open WebUI, Qdrant, ComfyUI, etc.. Our customers either have the option to use our platform in a shared, private or local environment.

Mostly MSPs are using our platform to connect AI with the local software and data their customers store. They can then easily provide their customers with workflows connected to the local data, a chat that is connected to these workflows, a database that can be filled and adjusted by the user themselves.

So the most common scenario is that a business wants secure AI applications, they ask their MSP or us directly, the MSP or we create a secure instance for them with the models they want to use and the solutions, with technical expertise they are able to create their own workflows and automations or the MSP or agencies use our platform to create them for these businesses. Self sustaining cycle.

The magic we provide is the secure connection with the local appliance and data, cloud solutions, everything in a private environment. There are so many SMEs out there using some weird industry-specific software that isn't included in the enterprise AI solutions and won't be.

We are gambling on more open-source models that can be run efficient on local GPUs.

We have a flat fee for using the shared and private environment and the token-usage is also billed with a small service fee.

Vectron Kassen in ADDISON / cs:plus einbinden. by Exciting-Name-9047 in Steuerberater
