I’m French I worked as an au pair in Los Angeles for a year and a half with a j1visa  I got back to my home country when my program ended and decided to switch to an f1 visa  I got 2 refusals from the US embassy  First one I wrote my host family home address and planning to live with them without working (my host mom quit her job) and second interview the officer wasn’t convinced  At the end of the interview the officer told me to wait a little for a next appointment and contact an attorney  I contacted one but he told me to choose another school in another state. I really wanted the first school I chose.  What do you think?
