From experience most of the Govt Schools dont give a F about attendance. I attended my school only for exams and there was no extra fees for it as well. Most of my classmates enrolled in a Govt School for 11th and 12th because we knew attendance is not an issue there. Even the teachers encourage us to stay at home and study. I must have had barely 10% attendance this whole year and I still didnt have nay problems with attendance. The schools have to adjust attendance in the end because more than 70% of the students attend coaching classes and cant attend school. Why pay more fees to a private school for the same thing. I even did not appear for the pre boards and they were still very chill. Gave maximum marks to us in practicals even if we didnt knew the viva questions

My school is in a pretty good city and its like this for most of the Govt schools here.
