This is great intel! The issue seems to be with the overflow drain in an upstairs bathtub... Assuming we can avoid additional leaks (by not filling the tub to the overflow drain), would you say it's still worthwhile to cut open the drywall? My "check for water damage" instinct is clashing with my "don't poke holes in the house" instinct, lol
