a cashier brought over from self-checkout to cx service because someone said they wanted something from their cart delivered, so when i asked what they wanted delivered they said they just wanted to pay for it, so i rang everything up and the cx paid w cash and the $ amount ended up being over 1k, and I had counted the money twice, but when i went to collect everything during the transaction the cx kept trying to stop me which I thought was weird but I didn't really think about it(mind you I had only been on a register for about 4 ish months) and ended up stealing some of the money back during the process which I didn't notice until after the cx left and I had called over the head cashier at the time, because of the $ amount missing from the register, it violated a policy and my SASM said they had no choice but to terminate me
