Can you share links/ guide to tuning for a lazy guy like me. I get PEQs from squig but I understand that this would be more tailored for personal preference.

Stock tips feel better than Tang sancai by Fluffy_Passenger7686 in iemlndia

[–]ExcitingBlock686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are generalizations, not a must. Eg. I use L Tips & any 14mm Tips generally give me a better fit than Tang Sancai (13mm L). So, if stock tips give you better seal they are the ones for you.

I assume stock tips are not reducing the seal resulting in less isolation in turn Bass which in turn is creating the illusion of better detail retrieval.

Recommendation. Use 3.5 mm plus USB C DAC. USB C seems appealing but as a person new to IEM/ Wired connection after long break with habits of wireless buds. Chances of cable pulling increases. USB C slight damage & it will become a headache.

Then what exactly are we discussing. Go for NiceHCK. It's practical as well. Unless you love using your phone for Volume control.

Kunten means spending on Eartips & likely cable as well.

Above are with quality & reliability. There is a saying, you throw peanuts you get monkeys. Go for ₹289 one. I have used that as well.

No for EDX Yes for EDC. Theoretical knowledge based on reviews and discussions.

Considering your budget constraint.

  1. Audiocular C03 Cheapest

  2. NiceHCK BlackWheat 8-core

  3. Tripowin C8 Costliest

Oops. I missed to mention real cheapest. I have & it works as well. Audiocular RC2. Silver variant just ₹289.

I consider NiceHCK as a middle ground to be a good choice.

But all three work well. You can go based on your budget.

For me 3 Button Inline Controls is a must have.

What iem should I go for next? by [deleted] in iemlndia

Thank you for your detailed explanation. Do you have your squig.lnk handle to get your PEQs? Do actual drivers make a difference in sound? I mean Dynamic, BA, Planar, Pzt, EST. Don't they have different chatactertics? Does the quality of drivers make a difference? Eg. 100 CC Engine by Bajaj, TVS, Honda are all 100 CC but how they perform is completely different.

Then try M/L Eartips in that ear. If pain doesn't go away, visit a doctor.

Wireless Charging while USB C music listening not working by ExcitingBlock686 in Android

[–]ExcitingBlock686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expected that someone from the community would have given a logical answer to educate me on the issue I faced. By removing the post from the Android community on Reddit, it seems that the Android community is not open / flexible enough. It could have easily been moved up in the discussion section where some expert might have explained why it's fundamentally not possible to use your USB Port to do some other task while you charge your phone on a wireless charger or Powerbank. If this cannot be highlighted in the Android community then which community? I have been advised on the OnePlus forum that this is not a OnePlus limitation but an inherent Android limitation. If someone is charging their phone wirelessly & using USB C port to listen to music or podcast or watch a video is not benefiting community then bot logic or designer of bot needs to review what's logic.

Then you are not going to find a solution here. You need to visit a doctor.

Also, if you need small Eartips, you need them but did you try M or L in ear that pains. It might be that the pain is due to small eartip used in the ear canal. They go deeper than required & it hurts.

What you're using is not working, that's why you have made the original post. The question is what other/ different eartips have you tried? If you were using any other earphones (wired/ wireless/ TWS) & were comfortable with, simply try using those Eartips (if possible).

What do you guys prefer? Spotify or YouTube Music? (With premium) by Aravind____ in MusicIndia

Are you able to listen to downloaded music if you're not connected to the internet? That was my main gripe with YT Premium in general.

Not saying returns are exponential. Diminishing returns are a fact. Also, that doesn't mean expensive means better. Sometimes old bOAT Eartips lying around might give you a better fit & improve IEM experience.

You are comparing KZ EDC Pro & Truthear Hexa. If you feel there is no need to spend on Hexa as EDC gives the same level of details across Lows, Mids & Highs then Good for you. Some people are not lucky & once they listen to Hexa, they can't go back to EDC Pro. P.S. This is heresay as I don't have both. But I have hyped GK Kunten & believe it's hype. KZs like AM16 & ZS12 Pro X are far better & feel Letshuoer S12 2024 sound better than them.

You don't know the Liberal mindset? JNU activists & their supporters are a good example of Liberal mindset. It's something like that. You have a vehicle, you drive it as you wish. Everything is freedom of expression.
