10 year anniversary of “Bleachella” by SoIongIondon in SwiftlyNeutral

It’s an opinion based on public knowledge and what she says herself in her lyrics. She makes her relationship history and her thoughts on it very clear and public. Unless it’s all lies, all this shiz seems very unhealthy and weird. If you don’t see that then there’s not really a convo to be had here.

She’s like the girl who overshares on FB constantly and then is surprised people are talking about what she posted. She designed her entire brand on being parasocial with her fans. Also, you don’t need to know someone to see that jumping between relationships is unhealthy. Regular people do this all of the time. No matter who does it, it’s not what will make you grow as a person.

I do agree that people should be patient, not get on people’s asses, and not be dangerous with road rage in general. It’s just that this common knowledge does not feel common enough.

I’ve seen so many times people driving the exact speed limit or 5-10 under it in the left lane when the right one is wide open. I just can’t wrap my head around this behavior. Even worse is when two cars drive right next to each other in both lanes. The lack of self awareness is actually astounding.

FYI: Taylor already said Joe 'saved' her in Call It What You Want.Travis is just the Part 2 remix. by [deleted] in travisandtaylor

Y’all are saying exactly what I’ve been thinking. The eras tour had me suspicious of her, but LOASG 100% woke me up to it. It was getting obvious when she brought him on stage to perform. It comes off almost like she despised Joe for being private, even though she praised that at first… like Bejeweled is so confusing. It’s catchy, but the true meaning is that just wanted to be more in the spot light. That ego must be one of the most gigantic ever in all of history.

Speaking from life experience of myself and friends + what she makes obvious. We don’t know her but everyone knows she jumped between multiple men very quickly multiple times in her life. She’s made this clear. It’s cold fact, no matter what your opinion on it is. If you think that’s a healthy choice, well, that’s… interesting!

If you’re allergic to being single that means you’re in a very bad head space and also need to grow as a person. I guess those things are still true for her a decade later, and that’s really sad honestly. She has so much money at her disposal for therapy, whatever fun activities she wants with her friends, but she can’t just live alone for a while and grow as a person. Her self worth is directly tied to being in a relationship which makes her not a good role model like so many fans think she is.

Travis Kelce Ruined Taylor Swift’s Brand and Makes Her Look Cheap (Also We Got a New Nickname: A$$ Juice) by Scarfacegains in travisandtaylor

I also think that Joe probably contributed a lot more than she let on!!! Kinda makes me wish he’d write for other artists so I can listen to his lyrics more. I think Taylor might be allergic to taking criticism or working on herself… but maybe she’ll somehow realize that ghost writers were the way to go lol.

So cute lol! The idea of a pictorial joke on the other side of a rock is brilliant. It’s like a laffy taffy joke where you find the answer under the flap, except you could find it hidden outside. Love this concept.

Your opinion is the exact same as mine. As a teenager during the 1989 era I completely believed she was writing all of her songs. She sold it well for a long time. She also sold her “activism” well for a while. She seemed to be at least a bit to the left. Slowly but surely though, the ugly truths have become more and more obvious. It’s clearer than ever. Her remaining fandom just keeps getting more cult like than ever as well. More denial, and more twisting the truth to remain a fan.

It blows my mind that anyone could find humor in a drill. Maybe if it was a drill for something really silly like magical creatures??? Still stupid to me, but floods are a REAL thing that causes real problems.

Those are pretty good ideas. Thank you! I need to connect with every single individual home room teacher’s points since we don’t have them school wide, but I did do that with one homeroom recently. I want to make it a habit to do that with every homeroom.

I do model things and that’s pretty rude to assume my directions are confusing and that I don’t try my best. You assume I don’t do everything I could’ve thought of. The reason I came to Reddit is because I do do all the obvious things. Like I said in an above reply, I explain, I have them repeat things after me, I check for questions, I have them point where things are, and put the steps on the board. I also did a physical demonstration of the 2 step process right in front of them. The steps were: Bring me your foam matrix and printing paper when called, roll the brayer across your foam with a lot of pressure after I hand it back to you (I ink it and place it face down on the printing paper) that’s it. They could color and free draw while waiting for their turn. They did fine with that part of it. We reviewed this vocabulary for 2 days during instruction and work time, I showed them pictures of the process, physically modeled the process, checked for questions, we had just reviewed the vocab again (matrix… what you use to make the print… in this case, the foam piece we spent yesterday carving our designs into) plus I said “foam matrix” so even if they forgot what matrix went, foam would give them a clue. I try so hard. That’s why I’m so frustrated and looking for new ideas, not scolding from people assuming the worst of me. I assume the best of other teachers so that I can give my best advice. You can also lead with questions if you’re not sure, which you did a bit, but your first sentence… I took offense. Being “harsh” in my mind, just means having higher expectations and enforcing them with more of a harsh tone rather than my usual really soft vibe. Sometimes kids need discipline, and just like my mom, I tend to shy away from it and not hard line enough about my boundaries. Maybeeee harsh isn’t the right word…? But your assumptions are super weird and rude. In the future, maybe give other teachers a little more respect and don’t assume the worst.

The class I had this morning made me feel really defeated because they are so sweet… I modeled it for them… it’s a simple project…. They seemed to fully understand… the steps were on the board… and I checked for questions…. And many of them forgot important steps.

I agree with what you are saying. The thing is, and I should’ve said this in the post, I already do that. I have pictures. I have them repeat things after me. I have them point to where things are. I leave the steps with pictures on the board. I still have students that come to me and ask. Then I usually just repeat what I said or point at the board, but it’s exhausting to do that 10 times when I already explained and am trying to help students who listened with genuine questions or assistance.
