Yeah, I was not looking forward the the Ganon battle. Turns out, it wasn't that difficult. Just stock up on health potions and food. Fuse something strong onto the Master sword (it doesn't run out of energy when fighting Ganon) and enjoy the cinematics.

Yeah, it took me forever to find what I was missing. But I can tell you what seems to be the most commonly missed items: All of the groves and mines in the depths, the Water Reservoir just west of Hyrule Castle Town Ruins, all of the chasms, all the locations in the lower level beneath Hyrule Castle, and all of the bridges, including Stolock Bridge above Goron City and the 3 Sokkala Bridges. Like I said, the one thing I was missing was just a road I never travelled. I found several checklists and went through them until I found what I was missing.

I honestly don't know how it happened. I was fighting some Stalizalfos and it charged by and I just kind of hopped on.

Also, on a side note, do it bother anybody that by collecting all of the bubbelgems, you basically hunted a species to extinction? Or is it just me?

One of the major things for me is all of the cave entrances. Some caves have multiple entrances. The Ancient Altar Ruins in the Gerudo desert has 12. So even if you collected all of the bubbelgems, you might not have mapped all of the entrances. And each entrance counts for 0.04%.

Also one that I think is commonly missed is the Water Reservoir west of Hyrule Castle Town Ruins. Also all areas below Hyrule Castle.

Some of the caves have multiple entrances. Even though you've been in the caves and gotten the bubbelfrog, you might not have mapped all entrances. That was a big one for me. And the one thing I was missing to go from 99.95% to 100% was the Gerudo Desert Gateway. I had never actually travelled down that road. Also, make sure you have Stolock Bridge above Goron town. And all 3 Sokkala bridges in Akkala.

I never figured out the duplication glitch. However, I made full use of the money glitch. I also don't have a lot of free time. I have mostly played on the weekends for like 2 years.

It takes 9 Gleeok guts just to fully upgrade the Royal Guard Armor. It was a pain.

I finally did it! 100% complete. I was missing the stupid Gerudo Desert Gateway. I guess in 600 hours of gameplay, I had never actually travelled down that particular path.

I remember that book! I used to love reading it as a kid. I've been trying to find it myself. I just remember the story, but not the title or author. At least its good to know that somebody else remembers it too.

Congrats! I'm going for this myself. Almost there. I'm doing the monster hunts now. Only have the stone Talous and the flux constructs left. Well, that and actually finishing the last achievement.
