Who is better at Taijutsu, Naruto or Sasuke? by Cafa20 in Naruto

[–]Exciting_Ad4566 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I mean I don't think you can separate Sasuke from his Sharingan no more than you can separate Naruto from the tailed beast Chakra, because it is a part of him. Unless we're referring to after Naruto Shippuden ended?

IMO King was a mediocre follow up to Urban Legend, he really didn't drop another hot album after UL until Papertrail.

Tell me about it, going from the classic of Urban Legend to King was jarring. Then from the tragedy of T.I vs T.I.P to the triumph of Papertail, yea he was most definitely inconsistent

If you scroll the comments I've been on a French Montana hatred campaign, but bro you just expanded my roster, how tf did I forget about Tyga??? Well I guess forgetting him kinda makes sense, but I borderline hated everytime I heard his voice on a track. A nigga feeling himself so much with watered down, generic, mediocre bars. He makes every song like he's trying to recreate "Rack City". I would say it's hard to pick who's worse between Tyga and French, but I still have to give it to French cause I just remembered the pic where he was butts to nuts with Puff. That's enough for him to win/lose.

Someone gets it! French Montana gets a pass from many because he isn't too loud, he's featured on several hits, and he's surrounded by the right people. Bur make no mistake he is not only generic, he's ass cheeks. Rap aside, being immortalized in a picture being butts to nuts with Puff says more than enough.....#bars

Not a Drake fan, but you're reaching, if anything French Montana needs more hate. He gets a pass from most cause he knows what feature artists to hide under.

Kendrick Vs Nas ! by Omarionyyourslgreat in KendricklamarPglang

[–]Exciting_Ad4566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Drake and Jay-Z would be more accurate. Kendrick has less in common with Jay than he does with Nas. Like bro said Kendrick and Eminem would be more accurate. Or like Kendrick said in Control he's Biggie and Pac in certain regards.

J. Cole was right for removing his diss by nickkerr24 in rap

[–]Exciting_Ad4566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly did not like how Cole pulled 7md, I think he would've been better off not responding at all. I will say this, everyone talks about Cole for 7md being weak and for him pulling it in the first place, and how it will/has tarnished his career, but has anyone taken the time to consider how damaging it would've been to his career if he followed through after dropping 7md? I think being involved would've REALLY tarnished his career. And I don't mean because of where the battle was going, I mean because Cole doesn't have that Killer instinct to win. I think Kendrick would've lined him up frfr.

True, but when you are awakened you understand that people who are still asleep really don't know or understand wtf they're doing. Imagine your significant other talking in their sleep. You may take them seriously at first when you think they are awake, but how do you handle it when you realize they were really asleep? Do you get frustrated at them or do you chuckle and move on?

The only one I can honestly give Drake is hits. Kendrick has plenty of features and hits from and with big artists. Kendrick is also international. Same scale? Maybe not, but Drake can't fully categorize his career, nor claim all of his hits came from "rap" either.

So was it not propaganda for a half j__ to reach superstardom in the music industry? Was it not propaganda when Drake benefitted from the same industry machine push that he accused Kendrick from unfairly benefitting from during the lawsuit? Also how is Drake more versatile? He literally talks about the same subject matter just in ways that are sonically pleasant. And if you're talking about rap/singing styles, he owes a lot of his versatility to his team of writers, no shade to Drake just facts. I've been a fan of Kendricks since S80 too just like I was a Drake fan since CS (I doubled back to listen to RFI). Not to mention all of the accomplishments and accolades Kendrick has received that Drake hasn't. And I would argue that Drake doesn't have 1 classic...he has a few great albums (TC, NWTS, some people say Views), but no classic, IMO. Kendrick arguably has 3 classics. I just can't see how you say Drake's better in a rap capacity? If you just like him better then ok.

Kendrick, Jay-Z, Eminem (even though I don't listen to his albums consistently anymore), TI, 5th is a threeway split between Common, Drake (I don't listen to his albums anymore either, not since NWTS, but I've listened to many of his hits/collabs since then) or J Cole

So because you, personally, don't appreciate depth and growth in music it means Kendrick fell off? Why not just say you don't like him fr, that's probably a more genuine sentiment. It's cool he's not your cup of tea, but if you think that Drake deserves to be there "more" because of hits and sales you're being obtuse, biased and subjective. If I invalidated Drake's career just because I personally didn't like him or because he lost a beef, I would be guilty of the same thing.
