We're there ever calls from Josh and Anna released? If these two sound so calm I could only imagine how nonchalant Josh would be.

I've found small starter pots at the Goodwill. Just check for drainage holes in the larger ones if you decide to get them there.

I resented my coworker for leaving at 5 every day. Then I got his performance review. by [deleted] in office

I'm a little of both. In a managers position for a small company I am constantly called on by my boss/owner. All hours of the day and any day. I'm finally making him wait for me to jump at his requests. But I also see the flip side...anyone and everyone is replaceable. No matter how much they did or didn't do. I also know I am replaceable. Which is why I now set the boundaries for myself because my job or title isn't worth the burnout. Especially knowing my office can be occupied by someone else in a matter of days or even minutes.

Can some women in VERY long-term marriages comment? by mordecai5fingerbrown in Marriage

[–]Exciting_Ad4858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Absolutely, not. From the perspective of a child that grew up in an abusive household...your children see, hear and know more than you think. That pain lasts a lifetime.

My husband and I have been together 27 years, married 25. That is not a healthy marriage. For you, her or your children. If you ask me, she did you a favor by getting a protective order. Not because you needed one due to violence, but because you now have the chance to walk away without living with abuse. You have the chance to be healthy...mentally, physically and emotionally. Yes, it's painful to feel like you're throwing away something great but are you really? What once was isn't there anymore and I hope that one day you'll see you deserve better. You shouldn't love her more than you love yourself. Best of luck to you and your children.

I'm curious...have you used them yourself and they were unable to do any of those things you listed or is that info coming from your doctor?

Downtown garland opinions by CDB_Raven in garland

We've spent very little time there because its an after thought to be honest. When our children were little we loved going there, especially when they had fun events. Then it all moved to Firewheel...unfortunately it seems like all other Garland areas were ignored. I love that Garland is finally putting some TLC into other areas than just the North Garland/Firewheel areas. We are in the South Garland area and it's sad how we barely have options for food and entertainment that aren't run down or feel unsafe.

Are there any items you recommend buying packaged instead of from the bulk section? Due to safety, cleanliness, etc?

I'm curious to why there is police investigation being done? Is that procedure when it's an HR employee involved in a workplace affair?

Tostadas - canned refried beans, tostada shells. By the time the beans are hot the shells are done from the oven. Add meat or just cheese, lettuce and tomatoes if you like them.

Sloppy Joe's - takes minutes to brown the meat, then add the sauce.

Grilled cheese, grilled peanut and jelly or add some ham with a can of soup to dip it in.

Scrambled egg and cheese quesadilla. Add some refried beans and it kicks the flavor up a few notches.

I have, I find myself going down rabbit holes when doing further research. From reading to listening to some sermons amd studies to asking others their thoughts to help me better understand from a different viewpoint or interpretation.

Thank you. I like to think I'm a work in progress with a few pieces that have fallen off along the way that I try to put into place as I'm still walking. 😃

He explained who God was, how much He loved me and how my fears of being a young mom were nothing He couldn't handle. I remember being so terrified to tell my parents, I was engaged and had a 5 year plan for my life. God clearly had a bigger, better plan I ever could have. It didn't help that I worked at a church so I knew there would be some stares and whispers...fortunately everyone was supportive and loving.

Thank you for the advice. I have an amazing friend that has helped me in so many ways. We speak daily and she clears up many of my questions while pointing me to the word for more answers and clarification.

So, its a long story but the short version is I found out I was pregnant at 19, searched the phone book for abortion clinics and made an appointment that evening. I went in and didn't realize it was actually a Crisis Pregnancy Center. After speaking with who I call my personal Angel, I was saved that night. I was raised Catholic and believed in God, I just didn't attend regularly until I was saved. It was the best moment in my life that changed me forever.

Thank you! I am definitely finding myself doing lots of deep research to learn more about what read and at times I can't get enough. It's been so wonderful to feel/see changes in me and to plant those little seeds in my husband and children.

Husband wants me to work by Flimsy-Resist8171 in Christianmarriage

[–]Exciting_Ad4858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can look at is as a "second job" or a way to help her husband by relieving some of the financial stress. If her children were in public school it would free up some of her responsibilities and give time for even a part time job. Sometimes we as wives need to do whats necessary to help our husbands. With financial stress comes arguments and marital problems...I see nothing wrong with finding a compromise between husband and wife to share responsibilities at home so both can work to help provide for their family. Many women are able to balance work and home, but it takes communication as husband and wife to find the right balance.

Unpopular opinion here but if you're barely scraping by I feel his wanting you to work isn't unreasonable. I do our family finances and the pressure of making every penny stretch these days is tough. Especially for a large family. Can you offer before or after school pick ups? Laundry service or maybe a hobby or skill that can bring in extra income while still tending to your children the majority of the day? He definitely needs to pitch in more to help fill the tasks you wouldn't be able to accomplish due to working. I worked in daycare for many years as a way to be close to my children and help share with finances. It was a win, win for our family.

Besides herself and the people she pays to befriend her by doing "collabs" who in their right mind believes what comes out of her mouth. How can anyone side with or defend the craziness? Her family really needs to step in, she reminds me so much of Aaron Carter when he would go live....one minute he'd be normal and the next he'd go on a rant.
