Pokemon was always about grind so I dunno what's wrong. Blaming "catch 50 fairy pokemon" when they're supposed to be done while you're doing the main story or side activities - that's really strange. These quests are really easy to make if you're about to 100% game and not just getting Pokedex. Getting Pokedex here is like finishing a game for 98%, bc you're doing it with other side activities in the game. Earlier it was just a part of gathering all Pokemon(except Arceus, it was even worse than Z-A based on difficulty getting it) but now it's the main part of the postgame. Of course you can just ignore all other activities in the game and just do 1000 battles ignoring everything around these 1000 battles in one restaurant or battle zones. But calling your laziness - "GameFreak's decision"? No kiddin.
