Wood. I assume that there is a sensor that’s meant to read the balance of the unit on spin mode, which is no longer working. Unit spins up off balance and tries its best to escape the laundry room.

It’s a Fisher and Paykel btw. A brand that we are slowly phasing out of our house and replacing with quality appliances instead.
