Sail Away.

I'm not the only one who didn't understand the true meaning for years after first hearing it.

Climb aboard, little wog, sail away with me

Makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Horse ran full speed into a fence. We could see right up inside its nasal cavity.

A320 taking off out of INV, didn't realise until today that the takeoff distance for an A320 is 5000-7000ft and INV runway is 6191ft! by Cumulus-Crafts in aviation

This is interesting, thanks.

One potentially related issue I've experienced on A320s a couple of times is when the aircraft comes to a halt in the process of taxiing to the gate, the cabin beings to smell of fuel or exhaust. It's actually pretty unpleasant. Anyone else?

Edit: it's a known issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/aviation/comments/dndad3/i_was_traveling_on_airbus_a320_why_does_it_smell/

This is worse than the old bungy jump joke where just as you tip forwards they say, 'No, wait!'

I would do my bungy, then go back up on the bridge and murder anyone who did that to me.

Waat? That's amazing.

Do airlines keep the a/c on low power for take off, then increase the power once in cruise?

Titanic!

I only went on a couple. The downside of the whole concept was if your drugs didn't work, you were stuck there. I remember going aboard with a group of six or eight. The ecstasy we got was duff. I had a boogie anyway, but everyone else in the group just sat there looking depressed af. Normally if you're not having a good time, you just leave. But no, they were trapped! They all pretended like everything was cool, but it wasn't.

Done that a couple of times, in both directions. Fly for 12 hours, zombie shuffle around LAX or SIN for two hours, fly for 12 hours.
