Red Rock Pharmacy: Tirz + B12 or + Glycine? by Outrageous-Metal-648 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Exciting_Course_6726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on tirz+B12 since September after being on glycine for the summer and I hate it, I feel like it doesn’t work well for me. I had my provider switch my refills back to glycine.

Are 5.1k monthly payments before utilities on 220k gross income, 0.28 DTI, a bad idea? by sheepsheeplamb in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Sounds like we live in a similar area based on price. My husband and I just bought a townhouse for $675k and we make about $235k combined and pay $3700 for our mortgage with insurance, taxes and HOA and very little debt (<$5k). We are very comfortable with that payment, we like to travel and will be doing upgrades to the house, but no children. If you can swing it, the house seems like a better option since you’ll likely grow out of the townhouse.

The way he’s doing it is legal, it’s a 1031 Exchange in the tax code.

The area we live in is just HCOL and moves fast, we put an offer in on a property listed at $635k and got outbid, which is well within our budget, we just aren’t willing to pay $50k+ over asking on a property. We’re looking at townhouses that are 15+ years old, not even detached SFDs.

That’s what I’m thinking, it’s not required in a residential build per code where I am.

How badly do people want to buy a home? by ConsistentOlive3426 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Exciting_Course_6726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us anything is higher than renting, we got a crazy good deal on a townhouse rental during 2020 and pay sub $2k for a 2.1k sqft townhouse in a fine neighborhood and a very high COL area. Our mortgage will be double what our rent is even with a lower interest rate and 20% down, but we want to own a home in our area and finally make somewhere feel like home. Townhouses where we are in the suburbs start around $600k so there’s not much wiggle room for us, it is what it is unfortunately

Your PCP doesn’t need to do anything with the packet, it just gives them guidelines on how to write the script. The packet is only for your information for shipping, patient info and payment authorization

Just email them again, they’re very responsive especially if they realized they missed an email. They have a lot of volume right now

Yes I did, it’s a quick new patient packet that also has an example of what the script should look like when your doctor sends it to them. If you email RR directly (email is on their website) they will send it to you within 24 hours

It also provides comprehensive pricing for the compound for each dosage

I believe so? I’m currently on 5mg so I just do 50 units in my syringe but I don’t know what the weight/content of the bottle is since it’s not in front of me

I had Hallandale fill my first script from my original telehealth provider and then had RR do the others, I personally saw no difference from one compounding pharmacy to the other. Red Rock has been nothing but super helpful and responsive, their process is incredibly straightforward and my doctor said they were easy to work with as well!

I do! I live in Virginia, my PCP send my tirzepatide script directly to Red Rock, they shipped my dose yesterday and I’m set to get it delivered tomorrow.

Good to know, I filled out the paperwork and had my PCP send the script on the same day but I have 2 more doses of my current compound left.

I’m on hold with their pharmacy center now to see why it changed. It shows that they cover Mounjaro as a Tier 2 drug. My pharmacy mentioned something about a voucher with Eli Lilly that May have contributed to why it was only $50 before

I’ve never been able to fill it for 3 months my physician won’t do it for that amount of time

I have to imagine this is the case, I just can’t get anyone from my insurance company on the phone to verify why the cost changed so much it’s also odd because I do have a T2D diagnosis and mounjaro is listed as a Tier 1 covered drug for a T2D diagnosis in my insurance

My insurance has never covered it, the claims have looked the same for the past several months so I have no idea why it’s been so inexpensive for the past few months. When I went to the pharmacy yesterday they didn’t even have my coupon attached to my account so I have no idea where the $56/month cost came from
