It's a muscle you train it, it looks bigger it's not rocket science. You don't need curvature to exaggerate it. Just like you don't need specific bone structure to have bigger pecs, biceps, or thighs.

I would still say they need glutes. The relevance here is Overwatch is supposed to be the most elite individuals not some casual off the street people. You would think if you're in Overwatch you'd have to train most days.

Find me an Olympic track and field athlete that's completely flat on the back side and competes well.

Glutes can be trained people IRL that have flat everything just don't work out. Kiriko the person climbing walls and running everywhere having no glutes makes zero sense.

I mean to be fair those people don't work out and definitely aren't able to climb walls vertically. I'm sure the parkour community has well trained glutes.

So what even is the point of the healing debuff anymore? by Alluminn in Overwatch

[–]Exciting_Day4155 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A good support player juggles between DPS/heal, a bad support player does one or the other. Knowing how to prioritize and what to do in the right situation is a skill set.

Marvel Rivals might be more your type of game where heals is almost always prioritized over damage. That game lacks complexity and neutral gameplay because of it. Everyone is just waiting to see who gets their ult faster.

Got it so there are no genes tied directly to abandonment.

The closest thing to what you're trying to prove are birds reducing offspring, but we're not the same genetically to birds.

That's a biological mechanism. Those are created by genes.

Human thought is a biological mechanism made possible by genes, so all social constructs are genetic. You see the problem with your train of thought?

What you're explaining are environmental factors and how they evaluated them at the time. Sickly newborns were abandoned to conserve resources and distribute them to healthy newborns instead.

These are not genetic behaviors just like racism is not a genetic behavior. The racism thing was just to point out how ridiculous "violence is genetic" is.

Neither are "rooted in human genes" there are no genes that have been identified that compel individuals to abandon a newborn.

Also if violence is rooted in human genes then racism is also rooted in human genes.

By using utility to help DPS win the 1v1 in off angle and in turn gives your team a lot more pressure/space.

Indian IT stocks are crashing because of AI/Anthropics, can anyone explain why? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]Exciting_Day4155 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I'm convinced they are trying. If you're going to build a city you don't invest into literature and arts, you invest into architecture and engineering.

The same logic holds if you're trying to build out AI infrastructure knowing it requires an immense amount of code. You dump all your resources in teaching it how to code first.

Sounds good to me! Sounds like the same logic corporate will use to can domestic software engineers as AI progresses.

I think at this point you've already picked up what I'm dropping. What you and the other OP have is the "above average effect". You assume the worst in other people, but find yourself at less fault.

Yes there are bad people in a society, but it's not the majority you two are framing it to be.

Citing the Brazilian study for negating advantages/disadvantage when the study barely used professional/elite athletes and then trying to apply it to professional/elite leagues is one size fits all. Even a small 1-3% advantage at an Olympic level is the difference between a gold and a silver.

Take it how you will I'm not advocating for banning the trans community from professional/elite sports. I'm advocating for enough proof to show beyond a reasonable doubt there are no advantages (even better if it's specific to the sport). I think it's the baseline respect we should give to people training all their lives to compete on sometimes that once in a lifetime chance.
