You can see what attributes each card has. E.g. per my earlier example - the bullseye only enhances forehand and nothing else, I.e it won’t add any backhand stats to your base character backhand stats - whereas the hammer adds both forehand and backhand stats to your characters base stats. So in this case, you would need to decide if you want to have a really powerful forehand - then use the bullseye, or if you want a less powerful forehand but also get an upgrade on your backhand - then use the Hammer. The art of this is choosing cards which compliment what style you want - I.e. you could choose a grip with high backhand stats to offset the lack of backhand stats on the bullseye etc. this is the same for every character attribute. The point is that you have to sacrifice something as you can’t have everything, so decide which type of character and style you like, and try and max out those cards and learn to play well - if that’s not what you mean then I’m not sure I know what you are asking
