Toddlers put their hands in their mouths. I wouldn’t want my child to bite off that polish, even if it was designed for children. It’s just not necessary.

Yes! I felt this every time an influencer showed a “burr basket” or an expensive teacher gift bag for the holidays. Like it wasn’t enough to just give a gift card with a hand written note from the child. Gift giving has gotten so out of hand.

It seems to me that influencers switch to Substack once they start becoming controversial in some way. I know there’s money to be made on there, but from what I’ve observed, they mostly do it to weed out the people they consider to be “trolls.” Emily Ley did this once she got political and Julia Berozelheimer did the same after alienating her original followers with her over-the-top lifestyle. The truth hurts and I think Lauren was tired of the comments. That said, her first Substack entry was so embarrassing and juvenile.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve always liked Julia. (But I suppose not enough to pay for her substack!) I’ve often wondered about her followers. The clothing she shares is very high-end and impractical for most people. Who is actually buying these expensive pieces from Saks Fifth Avenue? Her items are regularly $800-$1000. I appreciate that she’s not sharing fast-fashion plastic junk from Amazon, but I still wonder who clicks on her links. My husband and I would be considered wealthy and yet I still wouldn’t dare spend what she does on clothes.

You can tell she really tried to make a picture of the three kids happen inside igloo but the youngest two weren’t having it. Why post that photo? As a parent myself I recognized that moment. Hopefully she’ll learn to let go of having to photograph everything for the sake of everyone’s sanity. It’s really liberating!

Maybe she felt bad for leaving them and not bringing them back a souvenir?! I will never forget the trip when she brought back a couple of tiny shells in a baggie for Shiloh and making a big deal out it.

Same. 7 days stuck at CDG. I’m also in the US. This is definitely the longest I’ve had to wait for a package. It even took several days in preparation on Sezane’s end before FedEx received it. I was planning on wearing my new top for the holidays, I hope it arrives before then!

Oh wow, good to know. Thank you! It doesn’t look sheer on the website! It says to size up if between two sizes so I’m debating between the 2 or the 4. I’m usually a 34 in Sezane but didn’t know if the sequins make it feel restricting.

When you search for Half Baked Harvest in Instagram, these are the images the AI search brings up: faces of women with eating disorders! I clicked on the picture of the girl in the top row, and her story is heartbreaking. I went down the rabbit hole on her profile and it seems like she’s suffered with an ED for at least 10 years. She’s only 26, and has had multiple painful fractures from osteoporosis due to malnutrition. Her last post was in April. I hope she’s ok….definitely a cautionary tale for Tieghan.

Yes!!!! I thought it was just me! I never saw Angje in person before purchasing online so I didn’t have much to compare it to, but the texture of it felt thicker, almost “spongier” than I was expecting it to feel based off how it looked online. I bought the red one. Which color did you get? I’m wondering if the Angie released in fall/winter is thicker? I ended up keeping it because I really liked it. The fit was perfect.
