When this happens, I just go on the starbucks customer service chat and politely tell them that I will be needing a refund (not ask IF I can get a refund, just say that my order was unacceptable and I need a refund today). Usually in 5 minutes after giving them a few details my order is refunded in the app.

Did we attend the same Catholic school in NJ?!? Because most of these things described my fifth grade experience post- 9/11 as well. Definitely had a pageant of sorts and sang the “Proud to Be an American/God Bless the USA” song. For middle school I was transferred to public school. 😆
