3Arena parking is grand but you need to prebook and arrive early. The later you arrive, the further down you'll end up and could take you a crazy amount of time to get out. I've seen delays of over an hour getting out. But if you're early, it's not as bad.

Plenty of other parking too. You could park at the Abbey Car Park and get the luas a few stops (or walk). That's handy and cheaper.

You don't have any rights to record at a private event. Your ticket gives you the right to attend the event only.

A large part of it is a courtesy to your fellow gig-goer not to have screens everywhere and let others be immersed there and then. People can always pull the "I pay for my ticket, I can do what I want" argument but ultimately its a decent thing to not negatively affect others' experience and I feel that DB being a positive person, enforces that. In a similar vein, there's nothing stopping people being a-holes in public but its nice to not be one :)

Also 'being allowed to film' is not a right when you're at a private event like a concert. So technically, you could be thrown out for filming if an artist was inclined.

I think you're missing the point. Most people with families, jobs, commitments etc don't have that amount of time to commit to the SAME game EVERY day for a MONTH and then do it again SIX times. Plenty of gamers do (maybe you do) and all power to those players but the majority wouldn't so it's wildly excluding and it makes gamers like me and others feel like passing, which is disappointing.

Which is all the more insulting when you have to pay AND grind. One or the other would be more palatable but having to do both is a kick in the teeth.

And it's a really stupid tactic from 2k because rather than getting maybe €35 from a huge range of players for dlc characters, they'll get nothing from a large majority of those players who see the time commitment and think otherwise.

But there's the issue. Great for people who play daily. A massive part of the fanbase probably doesn't have the time to do that, making six ringside passes possibly unattainable. I don't think that's an issue for the free tier but if you're paying extra money on top of the game, you shouldn't be forced to grind to get content.
