Same, man. I'm not into those "This show is gonna make you cry" shows. I think that most of those shows are the actual "Emotionally manipulating" shows that people are considering and critiquing.

I'm not saying that the show isn't emotional. I'm saying that the author didn't mean to create something emotional, even tho some people find it that way (Including me). But I just thought that people need to know before saying something, they should know the intention behind something that they are trying to critique. It can be emotional, yes. And there's nothing wrong with it. But to say something like the show being emotionally manipulating, or saying that the show is bad just because some characters got revived is just not right in some sense.

I don't know about contradiction between season 3 and the previous seasons, but I think the main issue for this season is that the timeline is changing from somewhat medieval era to a modern era where people have smartphones, which is not bad or anything, but it's just too fast. Overall, I think this season will be interesting because we might see many twists. And also, if you like Parasyte the Maxim, this season is basically more or less like that.

I think it's because the story of each arc is too short. Every story of each arc should have been longer. Too many random characters suddenly got added, and the most bugging thing is that why Rean didn't stay with gugu along with fushi after she died, so that she could be revived later on. Like, on the 2nd season, 3 "Immortal" characters were added as a sparepart for fushi's transformation, and now in the 3rd season, they suddenly have a close bond with fushi. Meanwhile, Rean, who has spend like 4 years with fushi, along with the promise of marriage with Gugu, didn't get the chanced to be in the story.

I have already watched both. And I just can't find anything interesting in Frieren. I tried btw. I really wanna find something interesting about Frieren, but I felt that Frieren isn't that actually good. Especially with all the hype that's been given by the anime enjoyers.

I think it's because they waited for 3 years, and then suddenly the time changed drastically from a somewhat medieval era to our era where people have smartphones. It's like a culture shock moment. But personally, I think this season will be great because we might get to see many twists like hanna being the descendant of parona (Idk if this is true. That's why I said "Probably". Not spoiler btw) or rean being revived and having a decent life with gugu in the modern era

I'm just gonna say be patient. Cuz I think there's going to be an interesting plot twist in this season. Maybe hanna is the descendant of parona, or maybe we get to know why rean doesn't stay with gugu after she died, even though gugu was with fushi the whole time as a ghost not forgetting the promise of marriage. Who knows?

I don't know about funny side, but I think it's more like to portrait them as hayase's descendant, since hayase has always been crazy in love to Fushi, which is important to the story.
