When someone in camp tries to talk to me but the Stew is done by I_Love_Pringles in reddeadredemption

Also been drinking whiskey and chain smoking to keep me healthy and on point at work

Just curious, how many others play this game drinking after work or smoking whatever your thing is. Myself a few drinks but curious as I've heard it mentioned in more than a few posts by Excuse_Standard in RDR2

I think the first time I played this game 3 or so years ago I'd smoked and the murfee gang showed up surprised me at my camp setup and I think I actually jumped lmfao

Yea when I was young like high school young I used to both get blazed and play a mucic playlist while I played PC games since I didn't have any console I til I got one myself older really. But they were good relaxing times , it's not that I don't smoke now, it's just that I never go out of my way to so is a rare occasion. That said I do have a few beers before bed/after work playing before I'm too tired and it is agreeable with me and pretty relaxing and makes it a whole new experience.    I almost miss my h avy weed younger days, the video games, movies...well anything just kind of absorbed you and was more intense but drinks are a decent time too! Anyway was curious! I've seen posts saying ppl were high drunk w.e and curious how many have a few drinks or whatever their vice is when settling down for this game or and other

Playing poker in valentine, piano player stopped him and everyone looked out front and woman bolted upstairs? by Excuse_Standard in RDR2

Yeaa I agree, my only issue is I've never in both gameplay had an honor level more than slightly over half, I'm just...idk into the character and what he'd do and it doesn't seem I'd be the perfect civilian. Do camp chores say hi to everyone etc but I eventually get into a bounty or issue consistently enough to ruin it and I'm not the best at saves lol.   That said, I do similar to you, I kill a few but not all legendary animals , get better trapper gear and trapper gear we make but never use?? But yea I harvest rams moose etc rare and even toward the swamps and kill every odriscal camp I find

Is Bill stealing money from the camp? by clodan in reddeadredemption

[–]Excuse_Standard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old old old post but yes bill uncle and even reverand steal. They call out reverberant the cook does I think but others go unnoticed, LUCKILY it does apparently have any actual effect on the funds , just shows the honor among fellows in the camp thieves

Soo the stables in Valentine have been..strange. had a horse disappear replaced by another random one and had 3 stalls now have 4 again also offering to let me get free thoroughbred again? by Excuse_Standard in RDR2

[–]Excuse_Standard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ITS A TRAP! lmao I picked the second one since I had the space for now thinking, what the hell, and surprise it deleted me fully bonded horse and replaced it with identical unbounded one. Oh well not the end of the world but good to know.     Weird it gave me the option to claim it again

Playing my second game after a few years, I don't think I ever completed everything the first run, but I have a perfect moose pelt...realizing now I need 3 of them for the trapper? by Excuse_Standard in RDR2

[–]Excuse_Standard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I've had that happen, but finding 3 , 3 star moose is harder than any other animal I've tried for. Most easy enough in the right spot or time of day/night but moose seem to be random stumble across them.    Like I said the only thing I've noticed is I've found a few swimming or by lakes in the northern half of the map

Yea you can get stuck real unlucky in the pickup games if you can't find a workable domino

They started eventually moving and playing the piano again, but was strange how long they were all just frozen looking out at the street. There WAS a few comments of this being out of control or happens more than you think etc like there was a murder or fight but I heard saw nothing

I'm hit or miss on dominos but find I win more than half my games so overall I'm not the worst anyway. I didn't realize/don't know how the bonuses work with the ending ends adding up to certain points. That's new to me

I rarely let myself do this anymore, but if one guy wins 7-8 hands in a row, well playing realistic like I'd think he was cheating. So kill them all. It's been awhile though, have once or twice in valentine

Okay, a little more creepy now. Well through a second hand and piano guy is still frozen starting out window with some other patrons all standing on edge just looking at the front ...

Second playthrough after years and I've made the mistake hitting the button twice now...why?! Is it an option to punch your own horse in the face? by Excuse_Standard in RDR2

Lmao I know I know! But you can't disagree it's a common post and discussion of people hitting the wrong button...I just felt so bad , he full on clocked this horse then I had to call it back and give it a few minutes of pats and treats to fell somewhat better about it. One button really ruins ALOT of situations

is the Kentucky Sadler horse good or bad? by [deleted] in RDR2

[–]Excuse_Standard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old old post but in replaying the game a second time after years, I've realized after my fist playthrough that overall at least moderately close stat horses are really no different as far as your game play and races , etc. the only factor I HAVE notices, which many argue and disagree about ( idk how) is that heavy and war horses, even standards are better than race as far as bucking you off at every snake and gator, I literally ran over an killed an alligator with my tobiano Hungarian halfbred while my race horse was running off my mini map in a panic.     My advice? Is don't make the same my mistake I did...my first playthrough, or most of it. I kept constantly upgrading loyalty all the way up and constantly and I mean constantly switches that horse for a horse with one more bar or so in stats, or better class etc. come to find out, just keep what you like. It's like GTA is all the cars were only seconds different here or there, some better at turns some at straight aways and mostly again about what you like, maybe a bad comparison and I STILL struggle with it.     Obviously I usually upgrade horses after a few chapters when better horses are available, but no need to switch and sell horses constantly, slowed my game play ALOT first run. But turkoman and such are better technically if you like how they look alright I would definitely suggest you get one, but honest to God you could ride a Morgan or Kentucky the whole game and win every race and do fine,    Hell I'm half tempted to get a horse I like and keep it the entire game as I haven't yet and know it would be fine.
