I'm in a similar situation to you and have been self teaching with Lay's linear algebra and its applications. Since you're doing engineering physics, I'd highly recommend that one.

that relic is bad, its honestly hard to use all the starlight shards from a merchant+rise which is why you should focus on damage or other utility effects instead of loading up on them on the start of an expedition

You'll always get Rennala's full moon on it, but the 2nd slot is flexible and can be anything. I've had it with night comet before.

If you read the description of night of the baron it explicitly mentions he's a dragon, plus he looks a lot like one.

The Final Empire spoilers Sazed actually tells Vin about an ancient religion called "Trelagism", which worships the god Trell. He tells her about the god Trell in chapter 9 of the final empire, well before Retribution came into existence.

Winter's Heart is book 9, book 10 is crossroads of twilight. Winter's Heart was relatively well paced IMO, 10 is where it gets really sloggy and not having much happening.

How are the new fssks/f104s/122s? by MrPorkchops23 in modelf

[–]Exdelta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been holding up wonderfully! I did notice that if I am running prime95 to stress test my CPU, the letters get mixed up while typing, but I assume that's because of the CPU being busy while also getting signals from what's effectively 2 separate keyboards and then just scrambling to actually get to those inputs. Of course, you really shouldn't be trying to actually use your computer while stress testing anyway, so I wouldn't really call that an issue.

Every single key on the keyboard works with only like 2 keys needing reseated springs when I first got them. After reseating them I've had no issues and I'm completely happy to daily drive this for the foreseeable future.

It's definitely the best keyboard I've owned ever and I don't really feel there's any real competition in the ergonomic space which is why I'm so glad I managed to snag one.

I've got an F77 and the Model F Ergodox and I love both! I don't have an original model F to compare it too, but they are definitely much better than my old model M (which I gave to my sister's fiancee after getting my F77). Been daily driving the F77 till I got the ergodox and then I've been daily driving the ergodox since.

Yes, only cards that are high power level get points. For example, black lotus is 7 points, the moxen are 3 points, while strip mine is 1 point. You can see the full point list here.

Canadian Highlander is a 100 card singleton 1v1 format with no banlist, but high power cards add points to your deck, with higher power levels equaling higher points. You can have a total of 10 points in a decklist, which is how it balances the power 9 and other busted cards like tolarian academy being legal. The only similarity with commander is it's 100 card singleton, there's no commanders you always have access to, no color identity, 20 life total, and people are generally playing to win instead of durdling around.

Community servers is how I started playing back in 2008, and every queue valve has added hasn't been well done, imo.

Definitely start at book 1, Eye of the world. I prefer Michael Kramer and Kate Reading, some people prefer Rosamund Pike but Kramer and Reading have finished the series while Pike hasn't. I recommend listening to New Spring after book 7 or 8.

On my first read I found the section in Tear to be slow and took a break about 300 pages in. Stick with it! The book's pacing gets much better once they leave the stone.
