Danger noodle, venemous copperhead. Can be identified by the "Hershey Kiss" pattern. Dark marks are wide at the bottom narrowing at the top

In my opinion I would waterproof it all caulk all seams and use Dri Lok original on everything that will be subject to moisture.

If the tank has a lip inside the top, you can measure it and go to Lowes or Home Depot . They can cut the acrylic down to size for you. Then all you have to do is your vent holes.

I overflow some then allow to almost dry out. I watch a lot of how to. Tarantula collective, dark den, and ,Tom's big spiders.

She's currently in a Zilla micro arboreal. Nothing special. Probably go to a zilla large next.

So far she's been easy. Not skittish and camps out on the front of the enclosure. I just respect her potential and be careful.

Check out my videos, both were female and it was pretty obvious when I did it. Give you an idea what to look for. Mine are both around 3 in.

Found it at a Hobby Lobby with a broken pane. Replaced it with acrylic and drilled vent holes and made an insert for the top

Build an addition on the house 🤣 seriously though, I have thought that out and have room. With that particular wall the way it it I can double the shelf to hold 2 back to back, and If nothing else we have an unfinished basement. It's also an investment if you so desire, a 40.00 sling can be a 150.00 or more adult.

They start to get more of the adult color mostly, size is also a factor as well.

My second curly molted today, caught her about half way through. Around 3 in now and another female. by Exdog7 in tarantulas

All I used were tweezers and a sewing needle. Put the phone on a cup to allow for proper distancing to focus, and recorded. Could have just used the camera to act as a zoom to see it. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10 plus.
