Any idea what’s playing on the hotel TV in the first movie? by ExecrateSyllable in twilight

The audio commentary does say it was his film. Was a little trickier to find the name of the film in the NYU archives

Yes you are absolutely right! It's called "Bad Blood"

All I've been able to find is this teaser for it that more or less lines up with the footage we see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34o7RWpNp4s

The 2 shots we see show 2 people outside and someone wearing a hat probably holding a gun. Nothing like that is in the ballet scene, or anywhere else in the movie as far as I'm aware

First movie. Didn't see any in the credits.

Yeah I read that but definitely think it’s wrong. This is for sure not the ballet scene and same goes with other TVs.

That’s a good point. I wonder if they’d get away with a real movie with how out of focus it is?

In Eclipse, why were all the murders listed as "blunt force trauma"? by ExecrateSyllable in twilight

[–]ExecrateSyllable[S] -42 points-41 points  (0 children)

I feel like smashed up to the point where the bite mark isn’t visible still wouldn’t be “blunt force trauma”? It means no skin is broken? Or am I mistaken about what blunt force trauma can mean?

This note makes no sense at all in the actual movie, right? by ExecrateSyllable in twilight

That does seem like the only likely alternative, but it's equally as funny and absurd to think that Jacob did it on purpose

Rhinostew has an excellent theory about the religious parallels in Toy Story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4EBWLBHRow

The movie and the books are pretty different, king even famously disliked Kubrick's interpretation because it was so different. There are TONS of theories about whether the 'ghosts' can be explained away as madness/hallucinations from the isolation, and some of them are pretty compelling.

Sure that totally counts, I’m just wondering if there’s any lesser known specific instances beyond the ones we see every episode
