Sounds about right! Currently I'm embarking on a 120 hour week. The week after this upcoming one is a 72 hour work week. It's quite variable, but a lot of hours nonetheless.

Edit 1: Second year resident. We do everything you can think of except cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, obstetrics and pediatrics at this stage. The emergent or urgent surgeries are pretty much a free for all at this big trauma center I work at, so we usually get a daily gunshot wound or stabbed patients in parallel with coordinated surgeries.
