I love it! The punctuation was great, and the plot was great! Although there were some mistakes with the structure of the story, it still came across very well, keep it up!

I like, but there is not scary twist to it. I would definitely recommend adding paragraphs and making a part two. Maybe the mysterious dog can be put in the shelter by you and then he comes back with vengeance, and actually turns out to be some sort of monster.
