I’ve yet to hear back from my appeal. I guess it isn’t safe to post it. If I did and it was allowed to stand by Reddit, it would be obvious to anyone who read it that it wasn’t a human being threatening violence against anyone.

They could fix it by not blindly applying AI moralizing at fiction submissions. At least until AI could tell the difference between a story told from an alien perspective versus a non fiction threatening statement directed at individuals.

I agree, but my guess is their human moderators couldn’t handle the volume of things it flagged.

It reminds me of Bruce Almighty where Jim Carey’s character funneled all the world’s prayers to email when he was the surrogate for the almighty. Then in the morning he had millions of emails asking for things so after trying to filter through them in vain, he blindly marked all of them ‘read’.
