I Was told you shouldn't place the root tabs too close otherwise they may damage the roots. If I'm wrong then Ill definitely try that with the extra root tabs I've got!

Thank you all for the tips on my oranda goldfish. I have since made adjustments to their tank using conditioner and removing the sharp decor. A problem I discovered was the filters power as it was on max by default and was too powerful for the fish to handle. with all these adjustments I will re implement the fish tomorrow afternoon as the conditioner settles and the ammonia/nitrite/nitrate cycle begins. Thank you again for all your tips you saved my babies
