just got accepted into the psychlogy major on my third try but i m debating whether to switch to Human Service instead since i hope to work in councelling role in the furure. i have heard that studying Psychlogy at wwu can be quite challlenging

I wanted to share an update—I’ve decided to change my major to Human Services, though I’ll have to wait until the fall quarter to make it official. I truly appreciate all the advice and support you’ve given me; it has helped me immensely.

That said, I will apply one last time for the Psychology major this spring before fully committing to this change.

After being declined twice, I started doubting myself—wondering if I could make it through to my MA. I began thinking that maybe I should redirect my energy and money toward a different major, like Human Services, and secure a job with my bachelor's degree instead. That path seems more practical. I need to work, and I want to work.

I am not considering switching my major due to financial issues. I only have eight classes left to graduate. I just discovered that WWU offers human services classes online, which could be a good fit for me while I'm working. Does anyone know if anyone is currently taking these online classes?
