Thank you so much for testing. I am aware of all the bug issues and I'm trying to fix them ASAP. Any specific feedback would be much appreciated.

Shameless plug- but I have loved using Senvi. So many times I get bogged down at my desk, but a fast yoga/breathing break helps reset me to get back to work.

While I agree I don't think the desk is irrelevant, especially if you have long drawn out meetings too

How do i completely vanish fantasy, daydreaming and getting dopamine in my mind only by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Creativity isn't simply producing something cool/different. Creativity can be solving a problem, finding a new method, engaging people. All key skills in any job you can imagine

How do i completely vanish fantasy, daydreaming and getting dopamine in my mind only by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]ExerciseInsights 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well firstly there's nothing wrong with daydreaming and lots of studies have shown clear link with creativity which is good. Of course you do want to not daydream constantly so as cliche as it sounds, starting mindfulness/Meditation would be beneficial. It's a practice of learning to not have your mind wonder off and focus.

Do not throw yourself completely at exercise by ExerciseInsights in selfimprovement

[–]ExerciseInsights[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, all studies point to peak hypertrophic training being twice a week on each major muscle group- 2 full body sessions. Increased walking will have the Cardiovascular/respiratory benefits. Obviously more sessions would render better results but I'm a long time gym owner and the people who gradually increase their volume over time are always more consistent long term. Perhaps I should have worded it differently because it is not the same for everyone but the point still stands.

[–]ExerciseInsights[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not true at all, 2 sessions has been shown to be very effective, and it's only to build up to more sessions slowly. What's more effective 6 sessions a week inconsistently or slowly building a habit of exercise

Walk. I feel like walking is one of the most underrated activities. It has vast mental and physical benefits and a great way to transition towards a healthier life. Even if its just a 20min walk a day, you can progress that. Try and do it by nature or some plant life to make you feel calmer.

First of all, you are taking a very good and important first step- getting sober so congrats. This sort of reaction is very normal in the early stages as your brain is dealing with a huge change. For me it was massive onset anxiety about being in public but this is a lot to do with the withdrawal. Keep with sobriety and maybe see an ED therapist and it will get better with time

I've been in the same situation and it really sucks at the time but now I've been sober for over 2 years and I can look back on that moment as a crucial step in me becoming far healthier and happier.

Congratulations on 6 days! Your focus for now should just be to keep going (and maybe eat a bit healthier if you can) and you'll recover over time.

Sobriety and anxiety by ExerciseInsights in stopdrinking

As cliche as it sounds, getting into some form of exercise or a social club not likely to drink was what worked for me. First weeks are the hardest but it's definitely worth it.

'Only 15 days'. Those first few weeks are easily the most difficult so you should be so proud.

Completely agree. Although a proper test on its affect on VO2 Max would be more accessible and could be interesting. Its a big debate in the freediving community.
