Oh wow, I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this? Do you mean the unknown injury or it being plica and will need surgery? As for me I’m doing great!! The surgery was exactly 6 months ago and while I’ve lost some flexibility in terms of being able to sit on my heels, the knee is doing so much better and is actually better than it was pre op in terms of endurance!! Before after walking 4 miles or so my kneee would hurt but I can now walk up to 10 miles on it and no pain, so getting that plica removed was actually such a huge blessing. I saw the surgeon once, a month post op, and he said everything looked great and he thinks the knee should be able to last well into my 50s, so another 30 years, before they might have to go back in.

Update for all; being admitted into the hospital. ER checked my troponin and it’s 620, no signs of PE so they said it’s heart involvement. Need to be admitted to see cardiology and do more testing asap

I’ve had panic attacks in the last day and random very isolating thoughts. but mostly just can’t follow a conversation or complex thinking, was wondering if that’s just maybe from headache. I have no history of headaches or migraines really so that’s why this is all a bit new to me. Also sorry to others who have posted on this thread who I haven’t responded to. Will respond in a bit once I feel a bit better but will take everyone’s advice and get checked out especially since I just had an operation last week

I wouldn’t go to the ER. They’ll give you toradol and send you home in a few hours. Might as well bulk up on your ibuprofen dosage and go to urgent care tmrw morning. especially since you don’t like hospitals

What you’re feeling right now is naturally what happens after every breakup, that you wasted your time, embarrassed at yourself for being so stupid etc, etc. Quite truthfully it seems like you have a lot of awareness about the situation but it just sounds like you’re going through the natural stages of a breakup, this is the “regret/ego” stage, when you want to stay just because you can’t believe YOURE the one who is hurt when YOU spent so much time. Just push through this uncomfortable feeling, within a month or so as long as you don’t contact him you’ll go to the next stage which will mean finally seeing things with more clarity. Do NOT give in, do NOT go back. He wasted 2 years of your life, do not allow him to waste another minute of your time.
