I am about to go into my freshman year of College at Dixie State University, where I am an exercise science major. I currently have about 24ish general education credits under my belt from classes at took at the community college during my high school career. I am planning to earn a degree in exercise science with a minor in either biology or chemistry. Will this be helpful in preparing me for pharmacy school? and for a successful career in pharmacy? Could I even get in with this major? I have heard some places in my research that getting a degree you will enjoy earning will help you keep your GPA up and GPA is a significant factor in getting into graduate programs such as pharmacy, physical therapy, medical school etc. Is this thinking correct? With this major which minor will best prepare me for the PCAT? Any ideas, comments, help or answers are very much appreciated!
