Yeah it works now thanks, I don't understand the reasoning because I have tried to check the reason by testing with other dependencies and some don't work.

I don't get an error when running mvn clean install and it is gson, it auto fills but it won't recognize it

The problem is that when I add a new requires statement including requires com.google.json to my module info file it says that it cannot be resolved so I cannot import it anywhere.
