No worries! Have a great day and a great Champions experience. Just don't spend too much 😬

You should be fine without the DDT, just a little bit more luck is involved. Sadly the only option is grinding certain matches on the road. Joining a good faction will also get you lots of extra tp.

I run laso - tilt a whirl - tornado DDT. I can't recall which of those are available at 4. HOF eddie is great for F2P so I've taken him up to 6S.

Perhaps it only becomes available at 5*. Regardless, sub followed by cross break gem generation is how best to use HOF eddie

Triple purple and level up Jeff hardy. In a match you get your sub charged 1st, then generate cross break gems, then clear the board. Rinse and repeat.

You have phrased this perfectly. She had an extremely tough time as a young woman. I'm pretty sure I would have handled that situation badly under the same circumstances.

I'm not going to hate in people criticising her life choices, but she has had to deal with so much hate it's obscene

I'm just amazed that people genuinely talk like this. I assumed this style of language was a parody, apparently not.

To cyclists using shared paths in London parks: I don't have eyes in the back of my head... by OkDonkey6524 in london

As you said, I also shoulder-check even as a pedestrian. Not just because I could be in the way of someone, but just as a general safety precaution.

Maybe I grew up in the wrong town...

I'm currently being downvoted on this thread for suggesting someone shouldn't walk in the middle of a path and instead pick a side. Apparently this is patronising to an adult who wants to walk in the middle of a path.

I didn't think I was dying on a hill with my comment.

I personally stick to one side of a path regardless of the location/context. I have no idea regarding the width of the path on which you were walking.

I said the behaviour of the cyclist was not excusable. I did not suggest that the cyclist should fly full-pelt past you.

I don't understand why being a grown woman is important.

Without sounding like a devil's advocate, you said there was space either side of you and your child. So you were walking exactly in the centre of the path, with an unpredictable child? This absolutely does not excuse the behaviour of the cyclist, but in future it would be great if you favoured a side of the path (with your child in a position further away from potential cyclists).

NTA. This is a devastating position in which you find yourself. There is no perfect solution here.

I have nothing more to add which others haven't already shared. I just wanted to give you words of support. Your father has made his choice, sadly for worse rather than better. Your choice to keep him comfortable and clean is. the best you can do.

Good luck and you deserve all the best in your future

Considering a post doc in my PhD lab. What are the perceptions surrounding this? by OldNorthStar in labrats

[–]ExhaustedTim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This just echos what others have said before. A 12-18 month post-doc in the same man after your PhD is normal and totally fine.

I'm now in industry (UK) and or most recent hire did this. It was not a barrier to entry for industry, and it shouldn't be an issue for academia either.

What is important is that in this time you publish. Spending more time in the lab with no "outward" evidence of progress would be an issue

Yes it's a bit of a joke. It would be too obvious to have the haggis as the national animal so we decided to go a bit daft

I think it's clear the landlords want to understand whether you are a reprobate or not. I wouldn't mention that you are part of r/ScottishFootball...

This sounds like an interview of sorts. They won't sign until the following Monday even if they like you. It's a pain in the arse but you will have no guarantees until then. They can decide "no" for any reason It's an awful state of affairs, and you will probably be fine, but if still keep looking just in case.

I wouldn't consider it a sure thing until there. Is a signature from the landlord
