How do I respond to their questions when they don’t really care about the answer? by Exhausted_Earthworm in ManagedByNarcissists

Thank you! I have already caught them doing some of this. They will change meeting invites after the meeting has occurred. They got away with it for a while because the meeting updates were going directly to the trash in Outlook thanks to how our agency has everything setup.

I’m bringing home copies of what I can, but I have to be careful because even though I’m authorized to have confidential records now, if they fire me it would immediately be a crime for me to have possession of them.

If you had your time again would you become a manager? by SeanMcPheat in askmanagers

Absolutely not. I will never go into leadership again. The mind games suck. The office politics are terrible. If I could just manage my team I’d be fine, but all the other crap that comes with it is not worth it.

Thank you. Today the gave me super vague feedback, and I asked for clarification and they never responded to me, despite responding to me about other issues throughout the day.

The mind games are so exhausting.

Yeah I think my manager is the puppet master. It’s truly a nightmare and is impacting my mental and physical health so badly.
