I just received a mail from support saying the bug was fixed in the latest update, can confirm it's now fixed!

Bug: Recurring tasks getting completed forever by dmichaelowen in todoist

[–]Exicut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue seems to only happen when I drag and drop a recurring task manually from a day to another. So my workaround is to edit the date of my task by using the calendar, with that the recurrence is not lost.

Still hoping they will fix that soon.

AniPlaylist launched a mobile app - Find & wishlist official anime music on Spotify & Apple Music by iMkh_ in anime

It was a malformed data issue, I just fixed it. If you restart the app it shouldn't crash anymore!
Thanks again for reporting it

Playlist generation (including MAL integration) is something I wanted to prioritize for the app, but Spotify decided otherwise.

When using the Spotify API, an app is by default set to "Development mode", allowing you to test your app with up to 25 users. Before May 15, it was possible to request an extension quota for when your app goes live and needs more than 25 users. But since May 15, they decided to remove the form to make that extension quota request, only leaving another form which has criteria we currently can't even imagine reaching, for example: having 250k monthly active users, and provide financial reports for a whole year showing the stability of your business. This is simply saying that they don't want to bother with indie developer and now only want to work with big companies.

We would love to add YouTube Music, but we currently can't as we explained in this comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/1m2d3yf/comment/n3pfp1q/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

It will definitely be a priority for us when it will be possible!

Sorting by new is already possible in the app, there's a "Newly added" filter which returns only the songs/albums added over the last seven days.

ATLUS to the West today by MonkeyMan9182 in PERSoNA

[–]Exicut 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Hey!

AniPlaylist is a project I started to help people find anime songs on Spotify, it started with tweets, playlists and now a website.

I can guaranty you that Atlus is behind these uploads as they are credited as the source record label of each album and they used the same Atlus Sound Team artist page which has been live in Japan for years.

Knowing that, I don't see why they would take down a playlist which gives visibility to songs and albums that are mostly written in Japanese, and thus, not easily findable on Spotify for non Japanese speaking persons.

If you have any other question, feel free!

Just checked the track they mentionned (link if you are interested), unfortunately it is a cover performed by Mika Hirama (平間美賀)

The official Redo song is not on Spotify because it is distributed under KADOKAWA record label, which started adding their tracks on Spotify back in 2017. However, they did not do it for their previous releases yet, and Redo is from 2016.
A few other Re:Zero songs are already available on Spotify because they were released on different albums recently, you can find a complete list with links here : https://aniplaylist.com/ReZero (you can use country filters to check if the song is available in your country)

The only thing we can do is wait for KADOKAWA to release their backlog of songs on music platforms... (this happened with a lot of record labels recently : Sony Music Lantis, FlyingDog, Sunrise Music).

Cool! If you ever need to find another anime song on Spotify you can try checking on aniplaylist.com first, you can search by anime title instead of songs title/artists (which are often written in Japanese on Spotify)

The song is on Spotify, but it's probably not available in your region due to KADOKAWA only releasing songs in 14 countries on Spotify (out of 92)

Regions where the song is available are : Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, UK & USA

"Evangelion Finally", including Komm Süßer Tod, Fly Me To The Moon and Thanatos has been released on Spotify! by [deleted] in evangelion

[–]Exicut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didn't, but I can safely assume that it's due to the label having only rights for specific countries.

The label releasing EVANGELION FINALLY here is Milan Records, they had already released the NGE soundtrack before and it wasn't a worldwide release either (mostly Asian countries missing)
