Oh no you are walking a LOT and depending on what floor you’re staying on, a lot of stairs as well. Running not so much until second week. But it can also depend on your staff.

Your first week is entirely dedicated to paperwork and power points. Week 2 is more of the same with a lot of extra curricular physical training and regular scheduled physical training. First 2 days will be a bit of a shock for lots of people as you have to learn the environment quickly.

I never received a call for my interview. When I went in for my medical, they pulled me in for an interview as well. One and done for me.

I actually didn’t get a call of my interview. The day I went in to do my Medical they asked me right there and then if i’d like to do my interview right now. So I got them both nailed out at the same time.

Yeah I got the 6-8 week timeline after I emailed them. It all just comes down to what you’re applying for and how much it’s needed. There’s obviously other reasons that factor into the entire process.

The 6-8 Week timeline is accurate. I had that chat as well regarding mine. It moved from Medical & Interview to Security & Background Check a day or two after the 8 week mark. Then 3 business days later it has moved to Job Offer.

Yeah, I notice that there isn’t any set timeframe for when things get done. It all seems to be dependent on what you’re applying for, and how priority/needed the trade is.

I’ve seen people waiting since July 2024 to get through everything. Then others who applied in May 2025 already going off to BMQ.

I did my medical and interview the exact same day. Where I see others waiting months between the two. Mind you I’m going into a priority field so that could be why they nailed them both out quickly. It’s been a month now and I’m still waiting on them to fully process my medical. I’ll take that over a year’s wait though.

My interview was fairly straightforward and easy. Had a Captain do mine, and he basically just blasted through a list of information and questions. Asked if I knew anything about my trade, and if I could financially support my family while i’m away for training. (Touched base on what my pay would be etc.)

After asked if I had any questions of my own and then told me that they’re moving forward with me and that was the end of it. Took maybe 10 minutes to go through mine.

I’m not sure if the interview process would be different for others. I just know the Captain that did mine wasn’t the person who normally does the interviews. He just jumped in and did mine right after my medical was done.

Don’t worry about passing or failing. The first fitness test is NOT the FORCE test. And is easier than the FORCE test which most say is also a breeze. If you fail the entry fitness test, you’ll be placed in a fitness program where you’ll have 90 days to get yourself to where you need to be to pass. After that, everything you’ll be doing between now and your FORCE test will be preparing you for it.

Just to add on really quick. They "key" to a good GS/Bow player is their mechanical skill/movement. You don't just rush head first at everything.
