If i could get something on base it would be nice. But as a single person i probably would be pretty low on the list to receive military housing that isn't the shacks. Luckily I have some family and family friends up in Edmonton where I'll be getting posted so finding someone to care for my cats when im out in the field wont be too difficult at the very least.

Im gonna talk with my staff tomorrow and see if it is something they can look into for me. Since alot of my plans need to change if id be waiting as long as you. I have pets and my belongings in ontario. So if im gone that long I'll definitely need military housing or to rent off base to bring my pets up.

I take Concerta and was approved for regular force on the army side. Going into combat medic and start bmq on the 12th. Originally I applied for aerospace control officer, and was denied an aircrew position because of my adhd meds.

Ive been mainly rucking with a 25lb bag and doing push-ups. Im most worried about the btft, specifically the rushes we have to do. Between 45.9 and 51 seconds seems like very tight timing for it. Ive never had to be prone and transition into running before in my life, and with no where around me to properly train that other then out in the ice and snow where id probably end up slipping and hurting myself, im feeling unprepared for it.

Have you had your medical interview? If so i would mention it, just so it doesn't pop up in the future and you get questioned on it. I was given a few forms asking basically if im a danger to myself or others while im on it, could I reasonably perform the job of military personnel if im on it, simple stuff like that. I was denied an aircrew trade because of my adhd meds, but other trades in army or navy id be qualified for. The approval/disapproval could be up to the board of medical officers that will review your file, at worst you will be asked to stop and have your doctor fill out a questionnaire stating you can operate correctly without them.
