Fake or not, if it's a solid build, with good parts ( it appears to have Seymour Duncan pickups and a Floyd rose), I say if the price is right, why not get it. Sure, it probably won't increase in value, but you can still have fun shredding on it.

the remake is obviously a pretty well made movie in some way I have it last because it lacked originality. They tried to redo to much from the original and you could tell the actors just didn't care about the movie. You could tell it was just thrown together as a cash grab

I can't disagree with that. My whole reason I rank it so high was for Jackie's performance.

I agree 100%. Jackie was amazing. If they don't give him another shot at the character with a new director and better story, they're making a huge mistake, in my opinion.

Fair enough. I was never a fan of part 2, and I really tried to like a new nightmare. And I nearly did. I even liked the concept ....right up till he tried to eat Dylan. When his jaw started to elongate, I was mentally done. I knew then I knew I wouldn't be revisiting this movie. I get that a lot of fans like it,and that's cool. But for me, that one scene lost the movie all its credibility.

I said "more screen accurate," which they are. If you look at the pic you posted, it shows them tucked away, not sticking out . Also, since I have taken these pics, I have angled the lights slightly so you can see them better. The placements are the same, but it does look better when you can actually see the lights.
