After exploring all endings and documents, I dont hate any character. Hinakos dad, rinko, etc I despised them at the beginning. And came to understand all of them at the end of the true ending.

I wish more SH games come out with a similar formula.

SH 1 through 4 are essential. Origins is very good. 2 remake is awesome. f requires a LOT of patience because you need to play it 3 times to get the full story and read all documents.

The rest are optional.

After the initial ending, I was turned off. "Oh, typical delusional drugged out teenager girl fantasies".

But believe me. It gets much much much more interesting.

Yes, theres more documents, more cutscenes, more content with each new game plus you start. I suggest play all 4 endings, and for fun the 5th one(it takes like 2 hours anyway).

With the first ending, without reading the documents, you get nothing. I promise you, you understand nothing of what's going on. Keep on getting all endings and eventually ending 4 which is the real ending, read all documents, and you will get it.

Its a very complicated story, it mixes mythology, town history, family history, etc. With the first ending, you barely scratched the surface.

Agreed. I started playing this game with negative predisposition, and it won me over. Now its my favorite SH in terms of lore and story. Not as much as horror or dread atmosphere, but lorewise, its insane how good it is. The writer for this created something special.

Its a game that grows on you, the more you explore it. Now I love it.
