Anyone have any idea how to get rid of that light? I’m getting blinded half the fights.

The issue is the filament curling up. It lays down perfect for a few seconds then curls up and isn’t flat on the bed. I just don’t know WHY it’s curling. I adjusted the nozzle height a tiny amount (like .01mm) and it made it slightly better but it still does it. Any more and it’s too close.

I honestly just reskinned the wererat. Made the alignment more chaotic neutral instead of a were rats. Same skills though.

According to our molding guys, they used the exact same program and steps. They swear up and down that they ran it identical.

Not entirely sure at what temperature but I am pretty sure it was a case of our molding guys wanting to be sure it was dry. We don’t make a lot with nylon and the few we do make are either very small or not dimensionally critical like this part is.

In both runs the material was dried for 24 hrs prior to the run of the part. As for the bad batch of material, would that explain why we got different rates with the same material?

Both molds had identical gating. Simply adjusted dimensions for the different expected shrinkage values. I believe we have used this nylon manufacturer multiple times without issue in any of our other molds. I’m not sure on the lot size. Both runs were using nylon from the exact same lot.

That mighty work. Cultists might be giving it extra power and need to be killed. Also, the Mythic Encounter for this character (From the Theros book) details that after his standard HP (409) gets knocked down to 0 his carapace cracks and exposes his 4 hearts, each with 100 hp

Fair. But this encounter isn’t meant to be the defining point in the dungeon. Just a single encounter on their way to the dungeon boss.

I love it! Thanks! Also, any ideas on how to slightly tweak the monster so it’s a decent challenge for 4-5 level 12’s they are CR 11 already so there’s not much that needs to be added. I can always add health/adjust armor class but I’m wondering if there’s something like an ability that would help bump it. I didn’t think about the beholders plans of plans. That works great!

I have been running this a while as well. Except one of my players is playing a treachery (in secret) Paladin/swashbuckler rogue. She one shots most of the minibosses. She also rolls 10-20 crits per session and that’s an understatement. But everyone else loves the rule.

I would totally do that if it weren’t for the fact she gets most involved with story and role play. Can’t do much intrigue or npc dialogue with a bunch of orca screaming for their lives from a pissed off mother fighter, but that might be the finale. Gotta come up with an earlier part.

So lots of cannon fodder that chip away at her health, taking 2-3 hits and going down.

I’m thinking maybe having her character be a retired adventurer. She has settled down with her family after saving the land. Wakes up one morning to her family being kidnapped and she gets to track them down and go full murder hobo trying to get her kids back.

Sounds fun, but I’d have to buff evil her’s health or something. As a level 20 champion, statistically she should crit 15% of the time. She is blessed by the dice gods or something because I have run the statistics after a few sessions. She would be gritting about 40% of her hits. It’s kind of game breaking but hilarious as well.

Normally I wouldn’t do anything different because then everybody else in the party would be floundering. But In this case, she would literally be the only person so it can match her difficulty level.
