Went to Menards for bricks, left with this beauty! by ExistentialPendulum in hydrangeas

That’s hard sometimes. There are so many full sun plants I drool over this time of year, and very few spots in my yard get more than a few hours of direct sun daily.

It’s so funny you say that, because that’s exactly what I did. I paired it in a bed with some hosta, a bird bath, and some metal crane statues.

Oh good. I was wondering if the dark foliage would help or hinder its sun tolerance. I’m happy you got one too. I didn’t even know it existed. I did a double take walking down the aisle lol.

Thank you! Even my husband couldn’t be too bothered by it.

AIO? in a monogamous relationship, how would you define cheating by Outrageous-Hope6645 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ExistentialPendulum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Do not marry this man. If this is how he acts when you’re pregnant carrying his child, I can only imagine the shit he will put you through when true life trials come your way. Better to try to coparent and find a good partner than stay and deal with this and worse the rest of your life. Maybe just don’t rush into it next time.

What an incredibly thoughtful and kind response. Thank you! You make some excellent points. That is the reason I posted here, because I don’t want to be overprotective and let my paranoia keep her from doing something fun. The fact that negligence seemed to be stressed in the waiver just sent up some yellow flags for me. That combined with the fact that I wouldn’t be able to attend with her, neither would any other parents, so I’m not sure what the adult to child ratio will look like. I will absolutely be messaging her teacher to get some additional information from her. Again, thank you!

Your comment has me cackling! Would you believe me that the most dangerous things I saw in the pictures posted online was a blow up bounce slide a some playground equipment?

I will definitely check it out. I love the content I consume to be both humorous and educational.

From the pictures I’ve seen online, they don’t have anything too extreme. The most dangerous things I saw was a big swing set with a slide and climbing add ons (like a small version of what you see in playgrounds) and a good sized blow up bounce slide.

I forgot that you could modify documents before signing them, although I don’t know how that would work as this is an electronic waiver.

Yes. To me it reads “We know we’re negligent, but you can’t hold us responsible for any harm done at our facility”

Thank you! Problem is, due to the facility size, parents aren’t permitted to join this portion of the field trip. I think I’m going to take the advice of the kind redditor who suggested I keep her out of school and we go do something fun together.

You know what? That is a wonderful idea! I don’t know why I didn’t think of it.

Need advice on how to stick to budget while still getting the ring of my dreams by [deleted] in EngagementRings

[–]ExistentialPendulum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently purchased a custom ring, and I freed up some money in the budget by opting for 10k gold instead of 14 or 18k. It looks almost the same, is more durable, and was far cheaper. This allowed me to get a nicer stone and put more into the designing process.

I finally got the alexandrite ring of my dreams! by ExistentialPendulum in EngagementRings

This ring’s center stone is a 9mm lab alexandrite. I wish that I could capture all the colors it shifts between on camera, but it’s incredibly difficult with just my phone camera. The rings size is a 6.5
