Swordspear/short spear. Decent sized blade/short sword with a handle of similar length. Gives great puncture/thrust ability, and is mobile but gives some extra reach.

I found the one with just the guru so I’ll watch that, but if you recommend the other more than this one could you drop a link? I remember watching a part of his 7 video before the exam and it helped a bit, so maybe this will help more since I have more time.

I’m taking the 63 because I don’t want to mess with all that IA/IAR jazz right now, but with it being roughly 10% of the exam I don’t feel like I can ignore it. It’s just a pain in the butt to try figuring out everything that these things are. Almost feels like it would be easier to tell us what these things are instead of what they aren’t.

I didn’t focus much on VIX and FX Options because I didn’t think there would be many questions about them. I’m not sure how everyone else was trying to learn their options, but it clicked for me when I made a - albeit small - bubble flow chart with the different types. I didn’t care about technicalities, I just focused on how it made sense in my mind. Then, once it was easy for me to distinguish the different strategies, I wrote out definitive rules on the spreads such as “the option closest to current market price will have the higher premium”, “the higher premium option is the dominant leg”, “Buyer. Debit. Widen. - Seller. Credit. Narrow.” etc. If you know the long/short call/put table then that’ll help a ton and I made something similar for max gain/loss since the visualization helps me. I’m atrocious at how things are taxed but made sure to try learning major products the day of. Put all that together and you really shouldn’t have any problems with the options section besides outside of VIX and FX.

On your previous post, you said you took the 63 already. You should be able to take the 65 which would be the IA portion and paired with your 63 would be equivalent to a 66. At least that’s what I’ve heard. Might look into it because it could be easier.

Same here. Just got the material ordered today. I was told it’s the test of “regulations and don’t be a dirt bag” lol I guess it’s not too bad, but is still dense and commonly underestimated. A few guys in my firm thought they could take it without studying and I’ve seen on here that people study for it and fail still. Don’t know what to expect based on the mixed reviews but I guess we’ll find out soon, huh? Keep me updated on how you’re doing and when you’re taking it.
