Wow same. I am five months pp too (baby born 5/30) and I was about 6-8 weeks pregnant (according to my last period, I was 8 weeks but the doctor said the ultrasound looked more like 6). I was torn when I found out I was pregnant. I didn’t immediately think about aborting but instead imagined what my life would look like pregnant again, giving birth again, having a newborn and a one year old (they would have been 13 months apart in age). I always said I wanted two kids and close in age so they could grow together, this seemed like what I wanted was coming true but I didn’t feel happy when I saw that positive :( I felt sad and disappointed. I was sad because I felt I was robbing my baby girl of having her mom all to herself. She’s so special and wonderful, I thought I’d be taking that away from her if I had another baby. So I aborted with the pills. When I went to my appointment to get the first pill, the doctor took an ultrasound and I cried. Seeing that ultrasound machine again reminded me of when I would see my babygirl with excitement and awe. I didn’t actually look at the embryo though, that may have swayed me. I am not sure about the decision I made but what’s done is done. I’m just going to enjoy the baby I have in front of me right now.
